Named Azerbaijani taekwondo squad to compete at Grand Prix

Baku. 29 November. REPORT.AZ/ Azerbaijani taekwondo squad to compete at final stage of Grand Prix in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire on December 2.

Report was told from Azerbaijan Taekwondo Federation 4 members of national team - Aykhan Tagızada, Mahammad Mammadov (both 68 kg), World champion Milad Beigi Harchegani (80 kg) and Olympic champion Radik Isayev (+80) headed to tournament that will last for two days.

According to regulations, the winner will get 80, the first runner- up - 48 and second runner-up 28.8 rating points. Currently Isayev with 437.70 points and Harchegani with 472.36 points top the rating in their weight categories. Tagizade with 207.69 points ranks the seventh place, Mammadov with 161.94 points in the 15th place.

The Grand Prix that started in Russia will complete in Côte d'Ivoire.

Azerbaijani team headed to the competition under the leadership of Reza Mehmandoust, Elnur Amanov and senior trainer Rashad Ahmadov.
