Minister: International cycling competition in Shusha may become traditional

“We have positive emotions. The first international tournament was held in Shusha. I am grateful to the Azerbaijan Bicycle Federation, its partners, and everyone who contributed to the organization of the race and volunteers,” Azerbaijani Youth and Sports Minister Farid Gayibov told Report while talking about the Dear Shusha international cycling tournament.

Gayibov noted that they remember the brave Azerbaijani soldiers during the competition

“I spoke with the President of the Azerbaijan Bicycle Federation Madat Guliyev. I think this race can be made traditional,” the minister said.

He added that there are various projects within the framework of the Shusha year:

“Two international tournaments have already been held in Karabakh. We intend to continue this tradition. Both local and international competitions will be held not only in Shusha, but also in other cities of Karabakh. Construction work is in full swing here. We will organize tournaments when our new venues are ready.”
