IJF President visits training base of Azerbaijani national teams at Baku Olympic Stadium

Baku. 25 September. REPORT.AZ/ President of the International Judo Federation (IJF) Marius Vizer has today visited the training base of the Azerbaijani national judo teams at the Baku Olympic Stadium.

Vizer together with President of the Azerbaijan Judo Federation (AJF) Rovnag Abdullayev and vice-president Sadig Sadigov familiarized with the sports equipment. During the visit Vizer was informed about the training of teenagers, youth and main national teams of Azerbaijan at the training base.

The IJF President highly appreciated the work done and thanked the AJF leadership for the provision of the base that meets modern requirements. He expressed confidence that the base will contribute to the development of judo in Azerbaijan.

Notably, the training base was put into operation in November 2017.
