Head coach of North Ossetia team: Azerbaijan is my second homeland

Baku. 14 November. REPORT.AZ/ "I have competed for Azerbaijani national team for 10 years. I joined the team in 2007 and won titles of world champion, three times European Champion, 3-time Summer Olympics medalist and winner of Baku 2015 European Games."

Report informs, former member of Azerbaijani freestyle wrestling team, Khetag Gazyumov told sputnik-ossetia.

Currently, acting as a head coach of North Ossetia team, Gazyumov named Azerbaijan as his second homeland: "They did a lot for me to achieve. There were a great competition in Russian national team at my weight category. Therefore, before Beijing 2008 Olympics, I decided to compete for Azerbaijan. They offered very good conditions. And so, for the past ten years we have worked together."

Notably, last week Khetag Gazyumov was appointed a head coach of the North Ossetia freestyle wrestling team.
