Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation ranks first in FIG list

Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation (AGF) has topped the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) rating list of the 'Meritorious Federations.'

According to Report, the FIG praised the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation for the high-level organization of World Cups in three gymnastics disciplines, the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships, Academies for coaches in Men's Artistic Gymnastics, Trampoline Gymnastics and Aerobic Gymnastics and other international competitions and events, as well as its active participation in seven FIG-recognized competitive gymnastic disciplines.

In 2014, 2015 and 2016, the AGF led by Azerbaijani's First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyevasince 2002, was included in the top list of strongest federations of the FIG, comprising 148 representatives. It ranked first in 2017 and 2018.
