Azerbaijan Grand Prix winner Ricciardo arrives in Baku

Baku. 30 November. REPORT. AZ/ Red Bull pilot Daniel Ricciardo came to Baku just after the end of Formula 1 world championship. 

Report was informed in the Baku City Circuit press service, Daniel Ricciardo who has finished the fifth in the championship, arrived in Baku to experience again the joy of his only victory gained in Azerbaijan Grand Prix. 

On the first day of his visit he went for a walk on the track where he has gained a victory. Ricciardo visited the most interesting areas of track including the section which is only 7.6 m wide at its narrowest point, and turns 8 and 11. He has also been on the turn 18 near Maiden Tower and on the ‘two-way road’ section of track with a nice view to Baku Boulevard.

Afterwards, he has also visited the base of Azerbaijan's Qarabag FC which plays in the Champions League. Ricciardo has met with team members who were preparing for a match with Roma and demonstrated his football skills on the field of play.

During his visit, Red Bull pilot will take part in a series of activities with fans, reporters and staff of Baku City Circuit. 

The next Azerbaijan Grand Prix will take place on April 27-29,2018.
