Azad Rahimov announces sum of funds to host Formula 1 in Baku

Baku. 18 December. REPORT.AZ/ Allocation of 12 million AZN for repair works on Baku roads considered for helding Formula 1 European Grand Prix, approved. Report informs, Youth and Sports Minister Azad Rahimov said at a press conference Friday.
The minister said that, so far Operating Company spent up to 5 million AZN for Formula 1. He said that, a tender for the pit-stop construction at the Freedom Square will be announced.
The minister also said that, the budget will be formed in 3-4 months.
He added that, about 30 thousand tickets will be put on sale, prices will start from 19 AZN.
