Trial over Taleh Baghirov and Fuad Gahramanli starts today

Baku. 19 July. REPORT.AZ/ Today Baku Court of Grave Crimes launches trial on the criminal case of Chairman of 'Muslim Union' organization Taleh Baghirov, Deputy Chairman of Azerbaijan Popular Front Party (APFP) Fuad Gahramanli and other 16 people - Rasim Mirza Baba Jabrayilov, Zakir Tapdig Mustafayev, Jabbar Amirkhan Jabbarov, Jahad Bala Huseyn Babakishizade, Shamil Adil Abdulaliyev, Agil Azer Ismayilov, Ramin Maharram Yariyev, Abbas Abdulrahman Guliyev, Ibrahim Mammad Khudaverdiyev, Etibar Rasim Ismayilov, Bahruz Rahib Askarov, Ali Hasrat Nuriyev, Alibala Javad Valiyev, Farhad Nasraddin Balayev, Abbas Hafiz Taghizade and Abbas Mammadbaghir Huseynov, who were detained during Nardaran incidents.

Report informs, the case will be heard under chairmanship of judge Alovsat Abbasov.

Notably, on November 26, 2015,the Ministry of Internal Affairs held a special operation in the settlement of Nardaran in Baku city. During the operation, they resisted to police, opened fire on them, threw a hand grenade. Return fire was opened, as a result of which killed four members of the gang, a few people were injured.
Despite increase in the number of supporters of the gang in the territory where the operation was carried out, the police carried out their duties, two police officers heroically died.
As a physical evidence, from the scene seized a large quantity of weapons, grenades, bladed weapons, and etc. Several members of the gang - Rasim Mirza Baba Jabrayilov, Zakir Tapdig Mustafayev, Jabbar Amirkhan Jabbarov, Jahad Bala Huseyn Babakishizade, Shamil Adil Abdulaliyev, Agil Azer Ismayilov, Ramin Maharram Yariyev, Abbas Abdulrahman Guliyev, Ibrahim Mammad Khudaverdiyev, Etibar Rasim Ismayilov, Bahruz Rahib Askarov, Ali Hasrat Nuriyev, Alibala Javad Valiyev, Farhad Nasraddin Balayev, Abbas Hafiz Taghizade and Abbas Mammadbaghir Huseynov, including Taleh Baghirov detained and submitted for the investigation. Preventive measure of four months chosen on these persons, then term of preventive measure extended.

F.Gahramanli interrogated at Grave Crimes Investigation Department of the Prosecutor General's Office on December 8, 2016. Preventive measure was chosen on him. F.Gahramanli is accused of Article 220.2 (appeals to active insubordination to legal requirements of representatives of authority and to mass disorders, as well as appeals to violence above citizens), 281.2 (challenges against state authority, the same acts committed repeatedly or by group of persons) and Article 283.2.1 (challenges instilling religious, racial, and social hatred) of Criminal Code.
