Since March 29, Azerbaijan has strengthened a special quarantine regime from 00:00 (local time). During the special quarantine regime, inter-district and inter-city traffic will stop completely, except for special-purpose vehicles, including ambulance, emergency, rescue, agricultural, social service cars, as well as trucks.

There are no restrictions in traffic within Baku, Sumgait, and Absheron districts.

Main State Traffic Police Department has unveiled the number of drivers brought to administrative responsibility in the country over the past 16 days.

Report says, citing State Department, 25 402 road users have been brought to administrative responsibility for breaching the special quarantine regime on the roads of the country, including the capital, from April 1, 2020, to date.
