Deportation of migrants postponed in Germany

Another deportation of foreigners from Germany has been postponed.

Citizens of Russia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, and Armenia, taken to Munich airport, were boarded on a plane that was supposed to fly to Kyiv, Report's European Bureau informs.

When onboard, the health of a 34-year-old citizen of Russia, an Azerbaijani by nationality, deteriorated. Paramedics were called on the plane. They decided to take the man to the hospital, as he complained of sharp abdominal pains. The migration police took the others to a hostel near the airport.

The flight has been postponed until further notice.

In 2020, 95% of Azerbaijani citizens who applied for refugee status in Germany were refused. In the same year, the cases of 1,301 Azerbaijani citizens who applied to Germany for refugee status were considered. Only 68 applicants have been granted the status and protection.
