Azerbaijan discloses number of mines detected in liberated lands last month

The Azerbaijan Mine Action Agency (ANAMA) has released a monthly report on operations in the liberated territories.

ANAMA discovered 256 antipersonnel mines, 354 anti-tank mines, and 223 unexploded ordnance in Tartar, Aghdam, Fuzuli, Shusha, Gubadli Jabrayil, and Zangilan districts from November 1 to 30, Report informs.

As a result, 4,145,456 m² (414 hectares) were cleared of mines and unexploded ordnance.

From November 10, 2020, to November 30, 2021, 10,456 anti-personnel, 4,683 anti-tank, and 12,659 unexploded ammunition were detected. Thus, the total area of the land cleared off mines, and unexploded ammunition reached 6,358 hectares.
