US adds Xiaomi to blacklist

The US administration has placed nine Chinese companies, including Xiaomi, a smartphone maker, and Comac, on a list of bans for investors with ties to the US military, Report informs, citing Reuters.
According to the agency, American investors will have to withdraw their assets from Chinese firms on the "blacklist" until November 11, 2021.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump signed a decree forbidding American citizens and organizations from buying securities from military companies in the People's Republic of China from January 11, 2021.
