Turkish Minister: Holding TEKNOFEST in Azerbaijan is of special importance

Holding TEKNOFEST in Azerbaijan is of special importance, Turkish Minister of Industry and Technology, Mustafa Varank, said at the official opening of the TEKNOFEST Azerbaijan Aerospace and Technology Festival in Baku.

“Today, I am experiencing the same excitement and happiness that I experience every year when I enter the TEKNOFEST site. If I were you, I would sleep here and not go anywhere. I would study each plane and each technology one by one. I thank the presidents of both countries and everyone who supported the event. Those who once refused to sell us equipment are now queuing up to buy the latest drones (UAVs) made by our heroes,” Varank said.

The minister noted that more than 1,000 teams and over 6,000 participants applied to join TEKNOFEST Azerbaijan.

The minister stressed that it is remarkable that the winners will be awarded by the Presidents of Azerbaijan and Turkiye, Ilham Aliyev and Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
