Rovshan Rustamov: Azerbaijan assessing volume of digital piracy

"Currently, the assessment of the volume of digital piracy is being carried out in Azerbaijan," Rovshan Rustamov, Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport, told Report when speaking about the increase in the use of unlicensed software.

“We know that there is a problem with digital piracy in Azerbaijan. But a concrete idea of what level it is at will be formed only after conducting a market assessment. The fact is that not only we assess the volume of the unlicensed market, but all government agencies they want to benefit from participation in this process. Work in this direction continues," Rustamov said.
