Distinguished students of Azerbaijan Technical University rewarded by “Nar”

Baku. 12 July. REPORT.AZ/ Within the framework of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategy, “Nar” continues successful cooperation with Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU). Yet again, “Nar” has rewarded the students of the university’s Radio technology and Communication faculty, who have demonstrated the best results during the first semester of 2018.

During the meeting held on 11th of June 2018 at the main office of “Nar”, students who demonstrated the highest results and occupied 1st, 2nd and 3rd places, being Agalarov Vusal, Rzayev Alislam and Ibrahimova Arzu respectively, have received valuable gifts from the mobile operator. Paying special importance to the development of education and enlightenment, with this initiative “Nar” continues to provide additional motivation for students to be even more successful in their studies. In line with its CSR strategy, “Nar” rewards 3 AzTU students each semester with special gifts for their high achievements.

It should be noted that “Nar” has established a GSM laboratory at AzTU, where the students are able to gain theoretical and practical knowledge in the area of GSM. This special laboratory, supplied with the latest telecommunications equipment by “Nar”, hosts trainings and seminars for students, conducted by the operator’s professional technical personnel.

“Azerfon” LLC (“Nar” brand) has started its operations on March 21, 2007, and within a short period of time became one of the leading companies of the telecommunications and mobile communication industry of Azerbaijan. Being the first operator in the country to introduce the 3G technology, “Nar” provides the customers with a wide 4G network coverage. According to mobile network benchmarking tests, held by an independent international “P3 Communications” company, during the second quarter of the year 2017, “Nar” network has demonstrated the highest results in the country, in terms of provision of mobile voice services.
