Bakcell to double capital investment in 2017

Baku. 18 November. REPORT.AZ/ "Over 40 000 customers of other mobile operators have switched to Bakcell since introduction of number portability service."

Report informs, the company CEO Nikolai Beckers told reporters: "Nearly 100-200 customers switch to Bakcell each month through number portability. This figure vary each month. Only in October, 2 000 subscribers changed their providers to Bakcell."

N.Beckers noted that Bakcell has developed investment plan for 2017: "The investment plan is quite ambitious. We will submit the plan to our shareholders soon. Not disclosing the figure, I can say that the company's proposed investment plan for the coming year is twice more than in this year. Our main strategy is to provide the best service. Therefore, the company will also invest in improvement of 4G network in Absheron and Baku suburbs."

'Currently, number of Bakcell customers makes 3.6 million people. The figure partly increased. Our average income per customer is also high than our rivals," head of the company added.
