Azercosmos, Japan's Infostellar agree on cooperation

"We are happy that together with Azercosmos specialists, we are expanding the coverage of our platform."

Azercosmos and the Japanese provider of services Infostellar have signed an agreement on cooperation.

Report says, citing the company, that the agreement will help Infostellar ensure easier access of their customers to high-resolution satellite images, owing to the universal Earth-based station in the main operating center of Azercosmos.

The station locates conveniently between Europe and Asia. It receives and transmits the signals of other low-orbital satellites in real-time.

"Availability of an earth-based station is important in getting images from surveillance satellites. The unique location of the Azercosmos earth-based station helps us shift to the low-orbital satellites of global satellite operators with the help of our Stellar Station. We are happy that together with Azercosmos specialists, we are expanding the coverage of our platform," the general director of Infostellar, Naomi Kurahara, said.
