Azerbaijani Internet providers discuss ways of improving services, accessibility

At the initiative of the Public Council under the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies, a meeting was held to discuss the current situation and future tasks related to the development of Internet services in Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing the ministry.

According to the information, the meeting was attended by heads of the organization, members of the Public Council, mobile operators, Internet providers, representatives of businesses engaged in entrepreneurial activities in this sector.

The participants in the meeting were informed in detail about the measures taken to improve the Internet in Azerbaijan, to make the Internet more accessible to users, to update the existing infrastructure and the tasks ahead. During the discussions, questions of representatives of business entities in this sector were answered and proposals were heard.

They also discussed the importance and aspects of developing public-private partnership to further improve the provision of Internet services, the quality and tariffs of Internet services. The importance of providing users with stable, high-quality and uninterrupted Internet services, as well as the need to respond quickly to problems has been brought to the attention of providers.

The participants thanked the Public Council for organizing such a meeting and noted the expediency of holding discussions in this format in the future.
