Azerbaijan's revenue from express mail and courier shipments quadruples

In 2024, Azerbaijan generated 26.43 million manats ($15.547 million) in revenue from express mail and courier shipments, marking a 43% year-on-year increase, Report informs, citing the country’s State Statistical Committee.
Last year, Azerbaijan’s revenues from courier shipments grew by 20% to 4.2 million manats ($2.47 million).
Over the past 5 years, revenues from express mail and courier shipments have increased 4.5 times, including a 3-fold increase from courier shipments.
In total, more than 1.519 million pieces of express mail weighing 246,500 kilograms were sent in 2024. Of that, over 1.408 million contained documents, while 111,300 pieces contained goods.
