State Agency reveals procedure for replacing Immunity Certificate with Vaccine Certificate

The State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance has revealed the procedure for replacing the Immunity Certificate with the Vaccine Certificate, Report informs.

According to the agency, the vaccination process continues in Azerbaijan under the "Strategy for Vaccination against COVID-19 for 2021-2022."

The agency noted that Azerbaijan started the administration of the booster dose in August: "Considering citizens' concerns regarding the date of the booster dose, we state once again that a person infected with COVID-19 who has obtained an Immunity Certificate will receive the booster dose after six months, i.e., 56 days after the expiration date of the certificate. By getting immunized with the booster dose, people will extend the Immunity Certificate indefinitely."

"Vaccination queue numbers can be obtained online at randevu.its.gov.az 5 months after infection. If the time required to administer the booster dose, i.e., two months, is missed, then both doses must be injected to obtain the Vaccine Certificate. Thus, 28 days after the first dose, people can be vaccinated with the second dose and replace the Immunity Certificate with the "Vaccine Certificate," the agency added.
