TABIS's official: Specialists from China and Italy render great assistance to our doctors

"Currently, working groups have arrived in Azerbaijan from China and Italy. We work closely with them," Yagut Garayeva, head of the department for disease control and prevention of the Administration of the Regional Medical Divisions (TABIB), told a briefing of the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers.

"We hold virtual discussions with doctors from post-Soviet countries, and invite specialists from countries with more experience in this disease, and exchange experiences.

According to TABIB's official, the arrival of doctors to Azerbaijan is carried out within the framework of an interstate agreement: "At present, the number of infections is declining in many states, and the situation is under control. Specialists from China and Italy are the doctors of the hospitals that receive more COVID-19 patients. They render great assistance to our doctors and organizational staff."
