Azerbaijan confirms 531 new COVID-19 cases, six deaths

Azerbaijan reported 531 news COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number to 23 521 as of July 11, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told Report. 

As many as 514 people recovered from the infection, while six coronavirus patients passed away. 

So far, a total of 14 607 patients have recovered from the disease, while 298 others died. The treatment of 8 616 people is underway.  

Today, a total of 8 045 coronavirus tests have been conducted across the country.

On July 2, the government extended the special quarantine regime to July 20.

It will cover Baku, Jalilabad, Ganja, Lankaran, Masalli, Sumgayit, Yevlakh cities, and Absheron district, as well as Goranboy, Goygol, Mingachevir, Barda, Khachmaz, Samukh, Siyazan, and Sheki districts.
