Number of COVID patients globally reaches 366M

The number of registered cases of infection with coronavirus in the world as of January 28 morning has reached 366,249,339, Report informs referring to Johns Hopkins University.

Since the beginning of the spread of the virus in the world, 5,637,611 people have died.

The United States, India and Brazil retain leading positions among countries with more than 20 million cases of COVID-19.

The US ranks first, where 73,427,335 infected with COVID-19 were detected, and the number of deaths was 878,421.

Next comes India with 40,622,709 cases and 492,327 deaths, respectively.

They are followed by Brazil, where 24,789,795 people were infected, of which 625,390 died.
