The number of coronavirus cases has exceeded 354.7 million worldwide, Report informs with reference to Johns Hopkins University.

Since early 2020, over 5.6 million people have died from COVID-related health complications.

The United States, India and Brazil rank first, second and third, respectively, regarding the total number of registered cases.

To date, the US has recorded over 71.7 million cases of coronavirus infection and over 868,000 COVID-related deaths.

India ranks second with over 39.5 million cases of infection and almost 490,000 deaths.

Brazil’s tally is nearing 24.1 million, and as of January 25, over 623,000 people have died of the viral disease in the South American country.
