Azerbaijan reports 64 new coronavirus cases

Operational Headquarters under Azerbaijan's Cabinet of Ministers announced 64 new cases of coronavirus infection in the country.

Three of them are in critical condition, while 11 show moderate and the rest only mild symptoms, the Operational Headquarters told Report.

Moreover, 11 people recovered from the illness and have been discharged from the hospital.

In total, Azerbaijan confirmed 273 COVID-19 cases, 26 recoveries, 4 deaths.

Treatment of 243 others is underway in designated hospitals.

The country continues appropriate measures regarding the examination of 4,085 people placed in various quarantine zones.

About 30,000 tests have been conducted to detect new infections.

The increasing tally in Azerbaijan is due to the detection of infection among people arrived from abroad and transmission within the country.

Given all this, the Operational Headquarters urged citizens to adhere to guidelines of the World Health Organization, the self-isolation measures, and strictly follow the special quarantine regime.
