Ziyafat Asgarov: European Court made 16 decisions regarding Azerbaijan in 2016

Baku. 30 June. REPORT.AZ/ "Sometimes it is said that the European Court makes more decisions on Azerbaijan. But we see that 16 decisions have been made regarding Azerbaijan in 2016".

Report informs, First Deputy Chairman of the Azerbaijani Parliament, member of Judicial-Legal Council Ziyafat Asgarov said at the last plenary session of the extraordinary session of the Parliament.

According to him, while looking at the website of the European Court, we see other countries at top 4: "However, 41 decisions have been made against Greece and 33 against Uzbekistan. Population should also be taken into account. European experts highly appreciate the reforms carried out by the Azerbaijani authorities in the judicial system. But some forces are trying to cast a shadow on it".
