Zakharova: Relations between Russia and Azerbaijan stable

Baku. 30 November. REPORT.AZ/ "Level of relations with Azerbaijan is stable. These ties were laid by the leaders of our states, supported by relevant agreements and sealed by old friendship between the peoples for centuries."

Report informs, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said at a briefing.

Commenting on recent visits to Moscow of the First Lady of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva and the Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office (CMO) Sheikh-ul-islam Allahshukur Pashazade, and visit of the Minister of Education of Russia Olga Vasilyeva to Baku, M. Zakharova said that such visits are a high level manifestation of trust in practice between the two countries.

"It is particularly pleased that in a difficult moment for the world, we conduct interesting and socially significant events that will not only strengthen our ties, but also create a positive agenda of international relations", she stated.
