Baku. 24 August. REPORT.AZ/ Suspension of issuance of Hungarian visas in Azerbaijan is connected with technical problems.

Report informs citing the BLS International, which is engaged in receiving documents for obtaining Hungarian visas in Baku.

"We are subordinate to the consular department of the embassy, but we are not informed of any specific reasons", the company representative said.

BLS International reported that the reception of documents has been suspended since August 21 and it is not yet known when it will be resumed.

Notably, yesterday, the Hungarian embassy in Azerbaijan reported that the consular department suspends accepting visa applications due to force majeure.

"Applicants for long-term Schengen visas (visa D) can apply to the Embassy of Hungary in Tbilisi, Georgia. The Embassy, currently, processes the visa applications submitted before the force major majeure situation. Updated information with regard to the situation at consular section will be periodically posted on the Embassy’s website: baku.mfa.gov.hu. The applicants will be able to apply for visas after the consular section reopens", the embassy stated.
