UK Embassy in Azerbaijan: Together we will beat COVID-19

Great Britain expressed gratitude to Azerbaijan for a gesture of friendship and solidarity in the fight against coronavirus, British Embassy in Azerbaijan told Report.

“Thank you, Azerbaijan and Heydar Aliyev Centre, for this beautiful act of solidarity in these challenging days of the COVID19 pandemic. We pay special tribute to doctors, nurses, and all those in Azerbaijan, UK and around the world who are working to keep people safe. Together we will beat this!”.

To demonstrate Azerbaijan’s support in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic, on April 12, the Heydar Aliyev Center painted in the colors of the British flag.

Since April 3, flags change daily following the order of the first letter of the country name in the English alphabet. In this way, the Heydar Aliyev Center expresses support and respect to the states and their peoples that have been severely affected by the spread of COVID-19.
