"I am delighted that Baku-Moscow: Dialogue of Cultures took place on my birthday. I want to express my gratitude to the President of Azerbaijan, and the First Vice President for the support and patronage of this event," Deputy General Director of TASS News Agency Mikhail Gusman told journalists.

According to Report, Gusman said that the conference is critical for the development of bilateral humanitarian ties.

"I remember no such representative delegation of Russian public and cultural figures throughout the entire history of Azerbaijan. The whole commission is happy to be here on Baku soil. It has to do not only with the traditional Azerbaijani hospitality but with that atmosphere of friendship, cooperation, and attention. The historical and cultural ties between Azerbaijan and Russia have always been closely intertwined," Gusman said.
