Sultan Ahmed Ali: War crimes of Armenians against Azerbaijanis - genocidal acts

Crimes against humanity and war crimes of Armenians against the Azerbaijanis are genocidal acts, Chairman of the Muslim Institute Sahibzada Sultan Ahmed Ali Sahib from Pakistan told Report.

Armenian perpetrators should be tried under Article 6 of the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide. Perpetrators of the 31 March 1918 Genocide in Baku and other cities, and perpetrators of Khojaly Genocide, and perpetrators of recent war crimes in Karabakh should also be tried under Article 6 of the Rome Statute, he noted.

“The international community should hold Armenians accountable for their crimes against humanity. Similarly, International Human Rights Organizations should play an active role to bring the perpetrators to justice,” he stressed.

“We will continue supporting our Azerbaijani brothers against the brutal policies and acts of Armenia. We reiterate our solidarity and condemn the genocide.”
