Samad Seyidov to attend PACE committee meetings

Chairman of the Committee on International and Inter-Parliamentary Relations of the Azerbaijani parliament, head of the permanent delegation of Azerbaijan to PACE Samad Seyidov and a group of MPs will be in Strasbourg from September 29 to October 7 to attend the PACE autumn session.

Press service of the Milli Majlis told Report that the delegation includes Chairman of the Milli Majlis Culture Committee Rafael Huseynov, MPs Sevinj Fataliyeva, Sahiba Gafarova and Elshad Hasanov.

During the session, the report of the Bureau Bureau and the Standing Committee will be heard, there will be an exchange of views on the status of Ombudsman institutions in Europe, the Council of Europe Development Bank, Terrorism Protection and Support, post-monitoring dialogue with Northern Macedonia, Democratic institutions in Moldova, the preservation of Jewish cultural heritage and more.

The session will also mark the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the Council of Europe and the 100th Anniversary of Women's Electoral Rights in Azerbaijan, organized by the Azerbaijani delegation to PACE. Deputies of the Milli Majlis will make speeches and present their views on the agenda.
