Oklahoma governor issues proclamation celebrating Azerbaijan’s Independence Day

The Governor of the US state of Oklahoma, Kevin Stitt, has issued a proclamation celebrating Azerbaijan’s Independence Day, Report informs, citing the US Embassy in Baku.
“Happy Independence Day from the state of Oklahoma!
Since 2003, Oklahoma and Azerbaijan have maintained a close partnership through the National Guard Partnership program. In recognition of the strong relationship between the people of Azerbaijan and Oklahoma, Governor J. Kevin Skitt has issued a proclamation celebrating Azerbaijan’s Independence Day and alliance between Oklahoma and Azerbaijan,” the embassy said on Facebook.
