National leader Heydar Aliyev commemorated in Georgia

Tbilisi. 12 December. REPORT.AZ/ National leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev was commemorated in Georgia.

Georgia bureau of Report informs, Azerbaijani Ambassador in Georgia Azer Huseyn, employees of embassy and consulate, representatives of SOCAR, Georgian branch of International Bank of Azerbaijan ‘Pasha-Bank’, AZPROMO, Georgian Azerbaijanis’ Council of Elders brought fresh flowers to the memorial of great leader at Heydar Aliyev Park located in Tbilisi.

The attendants then visited Heydar Aliyev Park in Rustavi city and put flowers to the memorial of the national leader. Kvemo Kartli-Borchali governor Paata Khizanishvili and other officials also put flowers to the memorial of great leader.

Paata Khizanishvili told reporters that Heydar Aliyev is remembered with a great love not only in Azerbaijan, but also in Georgia: “Heydar Aliyev is a great personality who laid foundation of today’s Azerbaijani-Georgian friendship. Our region develops thanks to his political vision. We owe to Heydar Aliyev this stability and progress. Heydar Aliyev’s memory will live in hearts of Georgian people forever”.
