Moses Becker: Azerbaijan-Israel military co-op important for regional security

Military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Israel is important for the security of the Middle East region, Moses Becker, Ph.D. in political science, expert on interethnic religious relations, told Report.

He said that Israel is a country that has high innovative technologies, especially in the field of weapons. “In turn, Israel understands the strategic importance of Azerbaijan as a country that is the leading state in the South Caucasus,” noted Becker.

The political scientist noted that it is not surprising that relations between the two countries continue to develop and expand, including in the military sphere.

“I think that this friendship will continue in the future, since it is beneficial to both countries,” he said.

Moreover, contacts at the level of ordinary people - citizens of Israel and Azerbaijan - also contribute to this. According to the expert, the number of Israeli tourists arriving in Baku is increasing at an incredible speed.
