Moscow to host first meeting in "3 + 2" format today

The first meeting of the regional platform in the "3 + 2" format with the participation of Azerbaijan, Turkey, Iran, Armenia, and Russia will be held in Moscow today.
According to Report, the meeting will be attended by deputy foreign ministers of the five countries.
Azerbaijan will be represented by Deputy FM Khalaf Khalafov, Turkey - by Sadat Onal, and Russia - by Andriy Rudenko.
The talks were proposed to be held in the "3 + 3" format, but Georgia refused to participate in the Moscow meeting.
The idea of establishing a cooperation platform consisting of six countries, including Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Russia, Turkey, and Iran, was put forward by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
