Embassy: Iran does not cooperate with Armenia in military sphere

The Iranian embassy in Azerbaijan has denied allegations on military cooperation between Tehran and occupying Armenia.

Report informs citing the Iranian Embassy in Azerbaijan that allegations regarding Iran's military cooperation with Armenia do not reflect the truth:

"Insisting on the necessity and protection of developing cooperation between the two friendly and neighboring countries, we inform that recent reports spread on the military-technical cooperation between Iran and Armenia by some media outlets of the Republic of Azerbaijan are unfounded and the Embassy denies such kind of information. The Islamic Republic of Iran has always supported the resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict peacefully and within the territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan. In the same way, it condemns any step that can undermine regional peace and stability. "
