"Uzbekistan's accession to the Turkic Council will further diversify the organization's agenda," Secretary General of the Turkic Council Baghdad Amreyev said.

Report informs that he spoke following the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-Speaking States (Turkic Council) in Baku.

"All our efforts are aimed at expanding economic cooperation between our states. We have recently established a joint Chamber of Commerce. Hungary and Uzbekistan have officially joined this structure today. The main event of this meeting is the first expansion of the organization. Uzbekistan becomes a full member. We are confident that Uzbekistan will further diversify our agenda, " Amreyev said.

He noted that the declaration of the heads of states of the Turkic Council, which is expected to be signed tomorrow, includes the issue of creating a Joint Investment Fund.
