Ex-president of Bulgaria: Azerbaijan - invaluable and irreplaceable partner for EU

Azerbaijan has become an invaluable and irreplaceable strategic partner for the countries of the European Union, former President of Bulgaria Rosen Plevneliev told Report.

When the gas supply was cut off in Bulgaria a year ago, Azerbaijan helped the country, he said. Bulgaria is proud that it has a common strategic vision with Azerbaijan, he noted, adding that his country plans to jointly invest in gas interconnectors, etc.

He said that Azerbaijan’s new vision of expanding gas supplies will bring good results to everyone.

Rosen Plevneliev also noted that he was proud to be at the international event in Shusha on June 7.

He expressed belief in Azerbaijan’s long-term plan for the restoration and reintegration of the recovered territories.
