Erdogan: International community did not take any steps in face of nearly 30-year occupation

"The impossibility of being strong at the negotiations table without being strong on the battlefield is obvious. The liberation of Azerbaijan's occupied lands is the clearest example of this," President of Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan said at the 13th conference of Turkish Ambassadors, Report informs.

"Unfortunately, the international community did not take any steps in the face of the occupation, massacre, and genocide policy that has been going on for nearly 30 years. Our Azerbaijani brothers have been forced to live with the pain of the occupation and their losses for years. The Azerbaijani Armed Forces, with the support of Turkiye, were able to put an end to this injustice. As a result of the 44-day epic struggle, Karabakh regained its freedom, and the 30-year occupation ended," the head of state stressed.
