Member of European Parliament: We should preserve close relations with Azerbaijan

Paris. 17 January. REPORT.AZ/ "It is very important to preserve close relations between the European Union and Azerbaijan established on the basis of mutual respect and equality," Head of European Union – Armenia Europea, Union- Azerbaijan Inter-parliamentary Cooperation Committee and European Union - Georgia Inter-parliamentary Cooperation Committee head Karim Sajjad said.

Report informs that he commenting on the discussions held in the European Parliament against Azerbaijan.

"Of course, we can give each other relevant instruction in accordance with our laws. I hope we will use all the opportunities that will lead us to a positive outcome by implementing mutual commitments. We will step into a new stage of our cooperation that will  bring a great deal of benefit to all our citizens," he said.
