Baku. 13 October. REPORT.AZ/ Chairman of the Central Election Commission Mazahir Panahov has met has met with the director of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) Michael Georg Link.
Report informs referring to the CEC press service, Michael Georg Link highlighted bilateral beneficial cooperation between both sides, adding such meetings contributed to deepening ties.
Mr. Panahov said he attached great importance to the bilateral cooperation with the influential international organizations. He also stressed the importance of continuing the relations in field of election in terms of further improving the election practice. The Chairman stressed the role of studying the world experience and relations with the international organizations in development of election system in Azerbaijan. The Chairman provided an insight into democratic environment, as well as comprehensive condition for carrying out free, just and transparent elections in the country.
