Report informs referring to the official website of the Federal Senate of Brazil, on June 9, the senators will discuss the candidacy of Manuel Adalberto Carlos Montenegro-Lopes-da-Cruz for this post.

If the candidacy is approved, Cruz will replace the acting Ambassador of Brazil in Azerbaijan, Santiago Luis Bento Fernandez Alcazar.
