"Serbia, as a strategic partner of Azerbaijan, can contribute, in many ways, to the reconstruction of the liberated lands," former Serbian President Boris Tadic told Report.
He said Serbia could share its experience in resolving the problem of the return of IDPs to the liberated territories: "Serbia can also assist in achieving peace between the parties, as this is a very crucial aspect of peace and future co-existence in the region."
Speaking about the current energy crisis, Tadic, unfortunately, said that Serbia is not an energy hub.
He added that his country is, therefore, forced to use interconnectors to connect to the gas pipelines built by Azerbaijan and its partners, which deliver natural gas from the Caspian Sea to Europe.
"When I was president, I had an idea: to get all gas corridors through Serbia and turn the country into an energy hub for Southeast Europe," he stressed.
