Baku to host meeting of Joint Committee between Azerbaijan and the EU on simplification of visa regime

Baku will host a regular meeting of the Azerbaijan-EU joint Committee on simplification of visa regime. Report informs citing the source that the meeting is scheduled for November.

Notably, Azerbaijan and the EU held a meeting of EU-Azerbaijan Joint Readmission in September.

On November 29, 2013, the European Union and Azerbaijan signed an agreement on visa facilitation within the framework of the EU Eastern Partnership Summit in Vilnius. On 28 February 2014, the EU and Azerbaijan signed a readmission agreement.
