Baku hosts meeting between Chief of Russian General Staff and NATO Supreme Allied Commander

Baku. 19 April. REPORT.AZ/ hief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Russia Valery Gerasimov has met with Supreme Allied Commander Europe of NATO Allied Command Operations Curtis Scaparrotti in Baku.

Report informs referring to Russian Defense Ministry, during the talks, the sides discussed military activities of NATO and Russia in the European region, increasing confidence measures and preventing incidents.

The sides also exchanged views on the situation in Syria, stressing the importance of cooperation in the fight against international terrorism.
