Armenia is not ready for the process of normalization between countries, Leyla Abdullayeva, head of the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, told Haber Global.
"Armenia does not want to accept the post-war realities. As the normalization process progresses, Armenia is unable to fulfill its commitments and thus, tries to distract attention by creating tension. As a result, the normalization process is damaged," she said.
The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted that Armenia has always tried to expand the geography of this issue: "We have observed this in the 44-day war. However, we have always said that we, as two parties, Azerbaijan and Armenia, are ready to sit down at the table and solve the issue, and if there is a will, we can solve it. However, there is no such political will in Armenia."
