Azerbaijani, Iranian foreign ministers discuss situation in Ukraine

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov had a telephone conversation with his Iranian counterpart Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.

The ministers exchanged congratulations on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

The parties noted the importance of the next meeting of the State Commission for Economic, Trade, and Humanitarian Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Iran, which will be held in Azerbaijan on March 9-10 this year. It was noted with satisfaction that a group of Iranian businessmen visited Azerbaijan along with a delegation of officials.

The ministers also discussed regional issues and the situation in Ukraine.

The foreign ministries exchanged views on the course of negotiations in Vienna on Iran's nuclear program, as well as on other issues of mutual interest.
