Azerbaijan sends next batch of humanitarian aid to Ukraine

Based on the appeal of the Ukrainian side, Azerbaijan sent a humanitarian cargo consisting of electrical equipment to Ukraine.

Report informs, citing Azerbaijan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, that trucks with 45 transformers and 50 generators provided by Azerenergy OJSC were sent today from the territory of the Gobu energy center with the participation of the Ukrainian ambassador to Azerbaijan and representatives of Azerenergy OJSC.

The total weight of the cargo, worth nearly $840,000, is 52.2 tons and is transported by 4 trucks. The rest of the cargo will be sent in the coming days.

The total value of humanitarian assistance provided by Azerbaijan to Ukraine has already amounted to nearly $18 million.

About 90 Ukrainian children who suffered as a result of the war and lost their family members were brought to Azerbaijan for medical and socio-psychological rehabilitation.
