Azerbaijan Prosecutor General's Office, head of OSCE/ODIHR mission mull elections

First Deputy Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan Elchin Mammadov met with the head of the OSCE/ODIHR parliamentary election observation mission Ditmir Bushati, Report informs, citing the Prosecutor General’s Office.
Elchin Mammadov provided insight into a working group established following the order of the Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan in order to ensure promptness in investigating violations in the upcoming parliamentary elections, as well as coordination with the relevant structures.
Ditmir Bushati, speaking about the importance of the meetings he held during his stay in the country, emphasized the importance of timely legal assessment of complaints related to the elections. The parties exchanged views on issues of mutual interest.
